The Flower Cart, Inc. is a second generation local, Baltimore MD florist that was founded in 1961. Starting with one little shop in Hamilton, we have grown and changed over the years, adapting and expanding as our company matured. We now have three convenient locations; our Main Location in Hamilton, our Belair Rd store and wedding boutique, and our exclusive location in the lobby of Johns Hopkins Hospital. We have also had years of experience in online sales and continue to provide our customers with award-winning Teleflora wiring services.

We have been serving the Baltimore community for 50 years and are well known for our services in custom floral design, wedding flowers, sympathy and funeral flowers and daily flower delivery.

All of our floral arrangements are hand designed by real people, talented designers with years of experience. We take pride in our work and guarantee your satisfaction every time.

Holidays are a busy time of year. To help assure the best possible delivery service, place your order at least one day prior to any major holiday, but 2 days prior to Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter and Administrative Assistant's Day - those are the biggies for us flower folk.

Our shops will always be closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

That's why all of our weddings are custom-made and designed through one-on-one consultations. We will work with any budget to select the best flowers and designs for your wedding. • Sympathy - Flowers aren't just for decoration, they're a celebration of the life of the departed. Our talented designers will work with you to create unique designs that reflect your feelings and what your loved one meant to you. Please browse our online collection, or call for specialty arrangements.
• Custom Arrangements - with our daily selection of flowers we can design a custom arrangement for you for any occasion. We can even special-order specific flowers for you with advanced notice. If you would like to request a custom arrangement or special order of cut flowers, please call us at 410-426-3545.
  
• Gift baskets - Our extensive giftware will suit anyone's needs. Food items include fruit and gourmet baskets, junkfood baskets (sweets like candy bars, hard candy, licorice, etc.), snack attack baskets (salty snacks like chips, pretzels, nuts, etc.) and chocolates. We also have an extensive giftware line, including stuffed animals, ornaments, figurines, candles, baby gifts, home accessories and much more. The Flower Cart delivers to Baltimore and over 80 surrounding zip codes Monday through Saturday. 

A delivery charge will be added to each order and each address. Fees vary depending on zip code.

We offer same-day delivery, provided the order is placed by 11:00am.

Online ordering will cut off same-day delivery at 10:00am.

Any orders placed after 11:00am will be delivered the following business day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it. Most deliveries are made in the afternoon, between 1pm and 4pm.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
